Auction Valuations

Auction valuations form the basis of all our valuation services.  We provide these as a matter of course and for no fee. 

Our auction valuations, expressed as a low and high estimate, reflect the price range within which we believe an item will sell at auction, on a willing buyer and willing seller basis.  There are of course always circumstances under which items may sell outside these prices ranges as a result of the inherent nature and rarity of an object, its condition and provenance as well general and changing trends within the market.

Whilst we take the greatest care in assessing and evaluating items presented to us we do not offer any guarantees with respect to our valuations.  We will not provide valuations on items that we do not believe we are qualified to value and, under such circumstances, may introduce a specialist valuer at your request.
