⁂ Pouchee's type foundry at Lincoln's Inn Fields ran from only 1818-1830 when he was forced out of business by his competitors. During that time he produced some of the most richly ornamented letters ever created. Only 23 alphabets survived and are now held by St. Bride's, where they were identified and catalogued by James Mosley in 1966. This work is a faithful reproduction of these beautiful alphabets.
