Works

Gaskin was an illustrator, painter, and designer of jewellery and enamelwork. Along with his wife Georgie Gaskin, both artists were members of the Birmingham Group of Artist-Craftsmen, which sought to apply the principles of the Arts and Crafts movement to the decorative arts. From 1890 Gaskin produced many woodcut illustrations for William Morris’s Kelmscott Press and began painting in tempera towards the latter part of his career.
