Middle East.- Buxbaum (Johann Christian) Plantarum Minus Cognitarum Centuria I complectems Plantas circa Byzantium & In Oriente Observatas, parts 1-3 only (of 5), bound in 1, 188 engraved plates, 2 with tears into image and neat repairs, previous owner's ink inscription to title, previous owner's ink notes to early blank, one or two short marginal tears, some with old repairs, Index to part one strengthened at fore-edge, scattered spotting, faint water-staining, contemporary vellum, spine beginning to split at lower joint but holding firm, rubbed and worn, 4to, St. Petersburg, 1728-29.
