Description

Glorious Revolution.- Schoonebeek (Adriaan) Le Théâtre de l'Angleterre representant la suite de Jacques II Roy de la Grande Bretaigne, son arrivée en Yrlande et autres aventures, 54 etched plates only (?of 60) by Schoonebeek, inscriptions in Dutch and French, a round a dozen trimmed at top edge, either to or just within plate border and thus slight loss to image, all except first laid down to sheets, modern calf-backed boards, oblong 4to, Amsterdam, [c.1690].

⁂ Schoonebeek was a pupil of Romeyn de Hooghe, and the plates herein include the campaigns in Ireland, and of the Battle of the Boyne.
