Description

Vezin (Hermann).- [Byron (George Gordon Noel, Lord)] Werner, or the Inheritance. A Tragedy, 14 vol., manuscript on paper in Vezin's hand, on blue paper, cracked hinges, ex-Nottingham library with blind-stamps, contemporary limp cloth, title in manuscript to upper covers, a little rubbed, 8vo, c. late-19th century.

⁂ Hermann Vezin (1829-1910) was an American actor, writer and teacher. He left America for England in order to work as an actor, making his first appearance at the York Theatre Royal, before making his London debut at the Princess's Theatre in 1852.
