⁂ Rare at auction in any condition. The greater part of the work comprises a history of the wars between Turkey and Hungary and the recent Venetian-Turkish campaigns in southern Greece from 1684 to 1688. The work also contains 'curious representations of the aborigines of America, all with detailed descriptions of their manners, customs, religion' (Sabin) and a German edition of the Koran, edited by Johan Lange.
