[Sterne (Laurence)] A Sentimental Journey through France and Italy. by Mr. Yorick, 2 vol., first edition, variant 2 with "vous" on p.150 in vol.1 and "whho have" on last line of p.133 in vol.2, lacking half-titles but with list of subscribers, without loosely inserted advertisement leaf (as usual), engraved coat-of-arms in text, titles trimmed at head where ink signatures partly cut away, title in vol.1 with two abraded patches, old ink stamp "J.Holden" in red ink at head of p.1 of each vol., a little browned at beginning and end, book-label of Robert Meyricke, contemporary calf, rubbed, rebacked, red morocco labels, corners repaired, 8vo, for T.Becket and P.A. de Hondt, 1768.
