Golding (William) Lord of the Flies, first edition, very light spotting and ink ownership inscriptions to endpapers, original cloth, light mottling and fading to covers, first state dust-jacket without reviews, very light discolouration and some spotting to spine, a few spots to panels, very faint patch of staining to lower panel, light rubbing and creasing to tips of spine and corners, an excellent copy overall, [Gekoski & Grogan A2(a)] 8vo, 1954.
