Herzl (Theodor, proponent of modern political Zionism, 1860-1904) Autograph Letter signed to an unknown correspondent, 2pp. on printed Neue Freie Presse letterhead, Kolowratring, Fichtegasse nr.31, Vienna, "after finishing the letter I am receiving the news that everything depends upon the punctual printing...I beg you, do not lose one minute..., they are throwing stones at every one of us from all sides...", folds, short tear along fold line, 30th August 1899.

Herzl pushes the correspondent to hurry the printing, possibly in reference to an attacks against him in 1899 from within the Zionist movement, after a growing sense of criticism towards his beliefs.
