Works
Creator of the greatest fictional spy hero, and one of the biggest ‘brands’ of cinematic history – James Bond. The first James Bond book, Casino Royale, was published in 1952. The hero’s name was taken from the author of a book on the birds of the West Indies, where Fleming had bought a house (which he named Goldeneye). Fleming was also the author of the children’s book Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang (1964-65).
