Wiltshire.- Pocock (Rose R.) The Longleat Views [title from upper cover], lithographed throughout with dedication and 6 tinted lithographed plates, each with explanatory leaf of text, tissue guards (creased, some tears repaired), foxed as usual but mostly affecting text leaves, last few leaves frayed at edges, original roan-backed embossed limp cloth, titled in gilt within ornamental wreath on upper cover, rubbed and faded, a few stains, spine ends repaired, preserved in modern cloth-backed board folder, roan label to spine, board slip-case, [Abbey, Scenery 422], large oblong folio, Bristol, A.Pocock for G.Davey, [c.1840].

⁂ Rare views of Longleat, the only significant 19th century illustrated publication of this seat of the Marquess of Bath. Library Hub records only 3 copies.
