Fishing Satire.- Grant (Charles Jameson) Freaks of Fancy! A Bait; A Gudgeon, two works, etchings with hand-colouring, each sheet 320 x 240 mm (12 1/2 x 9 1/2 in), and 280 x 330 mm (11 x 13 in), even toning and sun exposure lines to the first mentioned, both with surface dirt and handling creases, unframed, published by S Gans, 1830-1831; together with a good group of 17 further satirical fishing prints, including hand-coloured lithographs by William Spooner, Madeley, William Hunt's 'The Complete (April 1st) Angler' after Bunbury, Fores's 'Tickling Trout', and others, various sizes, all unframed, [mainly 19th century] (19)
